Yes, the old Toyota Hilux is still an indestructible truck

YouTuber WhistlinDiesel has a Toyota Hilux. He’s beating the absolute crap out of it. The goal is to see if it’s as indestructible as Top Gear once showed. And so far? It’s proving to be the truly amazing truck you all remember.

This video is the second one with WhistlinDiesel beating up on the old truck. He tosses it on its side to get things started. After that, he attaches a gooseneck trailer and promptly loads up a skid steer and his own Ford F-450 dually truck. That’s around 30,000 pounds of Hilux killing mass behind the Toyota… and the old rig hunkers down and gets to work.

The truck is in 4Lo and it’s able to haul that insane load around seemingly with relative ease. Oh, the Hilux also has a nearly flat rear tire too. This is a truly impressive display of a remarkable truck.

Reminds me of the early 00s videos coming out of Sweden, with guys trying to destruct Volvo 240s. Never gets old. Now, as I am approaching the natural get-off-my-lawn-phase of my life, though, all I can think of is…I hope they cleared all those cinderblocks off the field.

This is like watching someone torture endangered animals. As impressed as I am with the durability of this truck, it only makes me appalled that such a fantastic vehicle was abused like this.
