Let’s continue on with the Weekend Edition with this lovely Jaguar XJ-6 from 1972, now offered for sale on Craigslist. We received this tip from Steve (Thanks,Man!) who exclaimed in his email: DO SO WANT!. Yes it is a very good looking Jag, and it is one of those rare pre-rubber bumper cars that looks even better… So, what do you think? According to the listing:

This car is in immaculate condition. It was recently purchased from the son of the original owner. The Odometer reads 24K she only drove to church on Sundays and it was down hill both ways. Unfortunately the odometer has stopped working. The interior is in excellent conditions, no tears in the seats, dashboard, carpet, headliner are all in excellent original conditions. The original motor runs and drives smoothly, with breaks working very well, tires in excellent condition, along with extremely rare real silver Jaguar hubcaps. Its never been in an accident no dent or dings and zero rust. The car has always been garaged. Must sell immediately

The asking price for this very well kept Jag is $3,800 or best reasonable offer. That is really not a lot of money for such a gorgeous car and it looks to be in good condition. Of course, it is a 70’s era Jaguar, so there will be endless maladies that seem to infect British Cars, but so what?
