Pow, here is another Weekend Edition Quick Hit, and this time I found a Jeep Wagoneer that is available in the Denver area. This was a posting over at the Wagons HO! Facebook Page, and we all seem to love anything that is connected with either Wagons, or Wagoneers. So, here is your chance to grab one…

According to the listing:

Green on green, with the AMC 360, TH 3 speed automatic. I don’t think either have ever been opened up (not rebuilt). I bought it a year ago from Oregon, and wanted to restore it. Fate has other plans. Pretty clean, with a bit of rust on the doglegs and tailgate, a couple of pin holes in the floor….you are getting a LOT more honesty in the description than I got. Has an Edelbrock carb on it, and the original will come with, but the Edelbrock is running rich.

Do all the gauges work? No, Some do (speedo, oil). But the wipers do, the lights do, the blinkers do, and get this, THE REAR WINDOW DOES! I drive it as is and I love it. This thing, I’ve been told, is the epitome of cool. I wouldn’t know, I’ve just wanted one for 20 years, and I fell in love with this one. I put in a new battery and new cables a couple months ago, and the previous owner put in new wires, distributor, and plugs. I just did plugs again. Tires are ok, but old. Odometer not working, who knows the miles. Title clean.

DON’T BE UNREALISTIC. You are getting a 41 year old classic 4×4 here with A LOT of flaws. They all have them, even the restored ones. Would this be a $50k rig if perfect? Yep. And even better, this is smog exempt, because it’s older than ’75. Happy day.

The seller is being quite honest, and this rig isn’t perfect by any means, but with the reduced price of $2,500, why not take a chance on owning an honest to God Wagoneer? Take a look at the listing here, and tell me what you think.
