I know I will never race a car in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. There’s a near-zero chance I’ll compete on some grand motorsport stage. Over the course of two days down in Baja, Mexico, however, I lived out my wannabe-racer fantasies. With Wide Open Baja, I blasted a buggy around, up, through, and over the exact same terrain that off-road racing’s finest explore during the Baja 500 and Baja 1000.
When the dust settled, this trip supplied much-needed adventure, fantastic memories, one destroyed GoPro, and a desire for more.
