Two Wheel Tuesday: False Neutral Podcast #96 – Under Pressure

Garrett has finally started up his sleeper RZ350! Aaaand there’s yet another unexpected setback. My air compressor also crapped out, but its replacement arrived, as well as some new parts for both of my projects. Along the way, I talk about seeing the new Suzuki Katana in the flesh for the first time, and we gush about how much we like the new Triumph Rocket 3 R.

The zinc plating shop Garrett used can be contacted here: Parker Metal Finishing

This GIF is what pretty much sold me on this manufacturer’s luggage system. The power of presentation. I’m still exploring other makes, but I love the take-as-much-as-you-need Lego block approach. There are downsides and upsides, like any product, I’m not going to evangelize for the company. One upside I’d like to explore is if these could be used on my bicycle as well. They’re probably heavier than is practical, but if you got ’em, use ’em!

Kriega, made in Wales, available at your local Cycle Gear so you don’t have to order them over the internet and make God kill a kitten.

Wow, that does look like nice stuff, and intelligently designed.

That Rocket 3R looks like a beast. I would think 164 lb-ft of torque would be hard to manage, though the rear wheel is placed pretty far back.
