The Sad Result of Military Cutbacks?


I have a buddy who used to be in the Air Force. He once told me that they called the single engine F-16 ‘Lawn Darts’ for their lack of a redundant engine. This picture indicates another concern for pilots of the plane.

    Never seen that one before. Worked in Phase Docks at Hill AFB. The dorsal fins usually got two or three of us a week. Bastard thing.
    The little beast is just a conflagration of wires, chafing continuously, whether moving or not.
