The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 222 – With Orson Welles

This week Cam and Brad are back to regularly scheduled bickering. Cam attempts an impression before the show starts. He also recently went to Detroit Moped Works. So I take it there will not be an episode 221? 😛
Also, I don’t think your idea of doing a V8 swap on the Midget is even feasible. There just isn’t room. Hod Rod Garge did a 302 swap on a MGB on the last episode, and they had to hack away a lot of the floor and front suspension crossmember to make it fit, and that car is about a foot longer and half a foot wider than a Midget.

      LOL, we did it again…
I guess Tuesday’s episode will be 221 and next Friday will be 223. It’s only fair.

And it’s not really “my idea”, because I would never intend to do such a thing. I think I referenced the HRG 5.0MG.

A modern all aluminium 4-cyl is a good option, you can get up to say 270hp n/a and not add too much weight to the car. That is my long term plan for my Mk1 Escort.
