The Best eBay Listing Regarding the Daewoo Lanos We Have Ever Seen

I don't know either??
I don't know either??

Why the title? Because it’s the only eBay listing regarding the Daewoo Lanos that we’ve ever bothered to look at.
The alternate title was “I have no idea what the hell you’re talking about”. With the listing titled “DAEWOO LANOS – TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT??” and a picture of a guy who appears to be either updating his Turkish Facebook page or doing the universeal “I totally didn’t think of that” gesture, we’re left with more questions than answers.
Luckily, we’ve got the description to clear things up…

YOU ARE BIDDING FOR ONE PARTS PRICE LIST.
I HAVE MORE THAN 200 000 USED PARTS .
ALL OF THEM ARE OEM !!
LOOK AT THE PARTS LIST AND TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED !!!
IN OTHER WORDS…MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT.
I DO HAVE ALL THE SERVICE MANUALS…I CAN HELP YOU OUT.
EVERY SALE WILL GO THRU EBAY !!
THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE BY THE MAIL OUR USED PARTS PRICE LIST.

As best we can tell, you’re bidding to have him send you a price list for used OEM Daewoo parts. You peruse the list and let him know what you want, at which point he puts your part on eBay.
Crap.
More questions: why not just post your stock on eBay? why not just run a normal auto parts store? why specialize in Daewoo? If your OEM is already Korean made crap, is OEM really a selling point? Do you realize your listing title is not a question?
Lastly: Does anyone here own a Daewoo? Anyone know anyone who owns a Daewoo? The closest I can think of is a woman I work with who owns an Aveo.
It’s gotta be worth $.01 to someone to get a parts list from headslap guy?? eBay.

You'd be wearing the same expression, if you suddenly realized you had 200K Daewoo Lanos parts.

I bought a part from this guy. He probably parts out lots of Daewoos. The reason he does it this way is maybe due to a large stock of parts which is difficult to get listed online being one man operation… Interestingly enough, next time I contacted him to see if he could get a part for me, he did not respond at all… Maybe hi is just too much into online sales.

I have been to the official Daewoo Service Centers a few times, these were better know as Pep Boys. No joke, they basically signed up the bigger used car lots as dealerships and used the local Pep Boys for official service, at least that is what they did in Atlanta. Maybe this guy bought out a Pep Boys. He probably has a large stock of Daihatsu parts too.

"Lagonza" sounds like a type of cured sausage.

A good friend of mine drives a Nubira. It usually runs, although it does like to sputter and stall when it's cold.

This guy has a Nubira thermostat. Maybe it's set for something warmer so it doesn't get cold.

If Leganza = Legante + Forza ÷ Laforza, does Nubira = "Nubile" + "Hegira"? Or just a downtown pronunciation of "Nubile"?

If it weren't a Daewoo, I'd thinkmy Cavalier was infectious and went all Typhoid Mary on the school parking lot.

I worked at the Snellville, Ga PepBoys as an installer when I was in High School. I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually doing that, seeing the vast amount of crap we got away with when I worked there.

while trying to find out what daewoo i stole the headlights from i read this on wikipeidia.
"Daewoo explained that the name Leganza originated from the combination of two Italian words – elegante (elegant) and forza (power)."

Guys like this can pull one over on eBay with one hand on their head.

I know I'm crazy but I always liked the body styling of the Giorgetto Giugiaro-designed Lanos. Let it be known that I would never buy one. I sure as heck don't want to build one from an eBay parts list.

Wow, I know EXACTLY what you mean. I find it to be quite attractive, and actually the other day, I saw a bright red one in amazing shape, and was reminded just how sexy it was for being from such a weird, flaky company.
      It really is too bad.

I would pay good money (like, let's say, $1.00 in Cold, hard cash, or maybe 0.97 after fees using PayPal) to read a good photo essay of where all the design features of the recent Daewoo-Kia-Hyundais borrowed/cribbed some of their design features.
It's all well and good to say that Kia Amanti is a mashup of the Jag S-type and Mercedes Everything, but I want pictures.
2001 Daewoo Leganza, you have the unpopular headlights of the 1997 Ford Scorpio. I have spoken. Ooh, 1998–2004 Hyundai Sonata, you have them too.
2001-2004 Hyundai Sonata, you have Mercedes CLK headlights. Don't deny it.
2008 Hyundai Sonata, your rear end cannot be distinguished from a Honda Accord in a snowstorm, a light rain, or if there are some leaves and a light breeze.
2003 Hyundai Sonata, your star-shaped taillights ape the Jaguar S-type nicely, for $30,000 fewer dollars. Nicely done, you get a pass on that one.
Daewoo, your Chevy Epica does not fool me! And your Suzuki Verona is neither Japanese nor Italian! No soup for you!

    I……own a Daewoo Lanos.
5 minutes after I bought it on auction someone showed me the Pineapple Express clip, and I've been living in shame ever since.
…..that said, after a quick tune up I haven't had any problems with it and love the gas milege compared to my cougar.
