In our last Name That Part, BeerRover managed to get it right as a Jag XK120 battery cover. Well done. The “fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu” meme, aka “ragefu” or “rage guy” has been around since about 2008, spawned in the primordial ooze of the 4chan swamps and currently thriving on reddit. The meme revolves around something unexpected and unfortunate happening to the main character, at which point the poorly drawn angry face closes out the fourth panel.  Typically the misery comes when something good is expected, but turns out to be problematic. As is the case with internet memes, it’s expanded to incorporate some variations, including “everything went better than expected” “close enough” and “f*ck yea“. Given the simple nature of the art involved, one can quickly and easily produce a rage comic using only MS Paint, or for the truly lazy, one can use this Java-based rage comic generator. What does this have to do with today’s Part in Need of a Name? That’s for you to figure out. Jump.
