Mystery Car

It was on this date in 1959 that the BMC Mini debuted. Priced at only $800 the original Mini featured one of the most innovative designs in automotive history and, I’d like to think, paved the way for the mini… skirt.
No matter who you like to dress there’s no escaping the fact that today is also notable fro hosting the weekly Mystery Car contest. I mean could it get any better? Oh yeah it could, it’s Friday too! Make and model if you please.

Not sure what the car is, but the left side of the frame looks like a map of the gulf coastal plains west of the Mississippi. Castro’s beard on the right, perhaps?

A Mini does, a Simca 1501 does not.
