Mystery Car

Last weekend was the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, which culminated in the traditional guzzling of frosty cold cow juice by first place finisher, Alexander Rossi in the winner’s circle. You know, I’ve always wondered if someone who was lactose intolerant has ever won the race? Do you think they’d take one for the team?
You can enter the winner’s circle too. There sadly is no milk involved in correctly answering the weekly Mystery Car contest, but that shouldn’t make it any less of an honor. Make and model if you please.

Fittipaldi didn’t drink the milk in 1993.

Actually he did, but only after he got a lot of flack for drinking orange juice. A friend of mine who works in the racing biz and is lactose intolerant said drivers can select soy milk.

I heard that he drank orange juice because he had some kind of marketing deal with citrus producers in Brazil.

He owned several orange groves in Brazil at that time.

He shoved it away while the cameras were rolling. That’s when it counts.

My first thought was some sort of E28 BMW 5-Series, but I’m not sure.

Whatever it is – it is a poorly made and totally crappy car.
One can clearly see where the heat gun went wrong and light refraction goes awry.
Not to mention the gap. I presume it is “made in China”. Or Pakistan (which is even crappier).

I think it is an Australian Ford Fairlane 1993.
