As something of an experiment, before we departed for Monterey, I gave my father one of my spare cameras and told him to take pictures of the stuff he found interesting. He’s not exactly a photographer, and he’s mostly a domestic car guy, so this has potential to be interesting. It’s an insight into the mind of a person who’s never been to Monterey before, never been to a Porsche show before, never seen a LeMon before. Click through the link to see what he found fun.
I’m not going to put a whole lot of writing into this, but will occasionally intersperse the photos with some of the actual words he said to me through the process of the weekend. Here we go.
Friday
“What’s that tractor doing here? Did Porsche make tractors?”
Saturday
“I think I might need to buy one of these. Man, this is cool.”
“That isn’t a real one, is it?”
It’s funny, we took pretty much the same photo of this car. Great minds think alike, I suppose.
“Hey, that’s Jay Leno.”
Sunday
“How many cylinders is that?”
“That doesn’t look like any Fox Body I’ve ever seen.”
