Matt Farah has built himself one hell of a Fox Body Mustang. In fact, I’d go as far to say that this is one of the best builds in the Fox Body space. A vehicle that started life as a Special Service Package coupe has been transformed into a special package indeed. And now Farah is set to say goodbye to the car, because he’s listed it on Bring-A-Trailer and 50% of the proceeds of the sale will go to charity.
Initially used by the California Highway Patrol until 1994, Farah acquired the car in 2014. He then set out having a handful of shops turn it into the Fox of his dreams. That meant wider fenders, a complete reworking of the suspension (including an IRS), and cleaning up of the Ford Racing 302 crate motor.
Once sorted, the car was transformed style wise as well. It now sits on 18″ HRE Wheels wearing brand new Michelin rubber. In preparation of the sale, Matt has gone ahead and serviced the car so it has fresh fluids, new brake pads, and those aforementioned tires.
This Mustang, since its completion, has since been featured in Car Craft Magazine, on Speedhunters, in Automobile, and on the Hoonigan YouTube channel.
Head over to Bring-A-Trailer to lear more about it, and check out the excellent photography of the car. At the time of this post, there are seven days left to bid… and the car is already at $65,000.
Both a charity and a Mustang fan are going to be very happy when this is over.
