Here is something you don’t see every day.  A Delorean with its guts all over the garage floor.  Ok, let me rephrase that, a Delorean with perfectly good guts all over the garage floor.  No, there was nothing wrong with the V6, at least nothing wrong that didn’t come from the factory.  No, this project is an upgrade.  An upgrade to a 2JZ.

File this in the “why didn’t I think of that” drawer, that engine looks right at home behind the cabin. 

Attention to detail is great with this build and it shows.  The creator takes us almost step-by-step through the build process and documents all his trial-and-error with the custom axles, the boost and fuel management, and various other obstacles he has overcome here.

While the car is completely driveable, it apparently still has a few bugs to work out.  And in case you are wondering, it’s 1/4 mile times are in the 12’s.
