Last Call: Tied Down Edition

The racer ethic has always been that form follows function and that anything that can reduce weight or speed an action should be employed. I agree with that mantra, and I also liked rummaging through the externally latched boot on this guy’s Porsche (not really.)
Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day.  It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

Hope nobody is planning on going through Atlanta on I-85 in the next few months. A big 40 yard section of I-85 north is GONE due to a fire.

In the category “unfortunate car love stories”: Somebody works (plays?) with dynamite, stones come flying and destroy another man’s house and garage 250m away. In the garage? A 1969 Ford Capri that was painstakingly restored with 4000 hours of work sort of bare moments ago. Not yet shown, but intended to be driven to a show soon.
    Heartbreaking.

Is Hooniverse broken? Neither my home computer nor my work machine show any posts after “The DFL Show” yesterday. I haven’t tried my phone’s browser yet.
I only found this post by using the Last Call tag in the header.
