Having just this past week celebrated his 75th birthday it’s not unexpected that someone would look back on the life and long career of Hollywood luminary Jack Nicholson, which is just what Life Magazine has done. Here’s Jack back in 1969 driving his beloved ragtop  VW Beetle about which he opined  “anyone out here who doesn’t drive a Volks is either ostentatious or stupid.” 

Just in case you didn’t happen to notice, Nicholson bought his Beetle from another Jack, that being legendary racer and car dealer, Jack McAfee.
