All the kids loved it when it was Billy’s mom’s turn to drive car pool, except on snow days that is.

Just because…
For some reason I thought of:

Never bet against a Wagovan. NEVER.
Mostly unrelated: I saw a Meyers Manx on the road in Kansas City today.
Where? I haven't seen one in the 16 years I've lived here.
Brookside, 66th and Wornall. It was a sort of pastel yellow. Only saw a flash of it, or I'd have had a picture to share.
Must be drive your buggy to work day: I saw a VW based buggy in traffic today as well. I could not get close enough to ID it, but it sure looked Manxish. It also looked brand new!
That's pretty cool. However, there are a bunch of Hoons here who drive sandrails on the street (and in the desert, of course) here pretty much every day. The pavement ends right across the street from where I live, so it makes sense here. You can go for miles here without seeing any pavement at all, or even graded dirt roads.
I feel a bit spoilt having worked for this man

The first on the left being a Meyers Tow'd and the last one, without a windshield, being a Meyers Manx.
Kinda cool for snow country, but it’s not even an Si, so it’s not AWD, and doesn’t have the Si 110 HP engine or the Granny Low gear either.
The AWD one wasn't the Si. It was just the civic wagon RT4WD. There wasn't an Si wagon, the Si was the 3 door hatch.
The RT4WD civics did come with the Si engine and 6 speed transmission.
Oh, I was Wrong, eh Hoonda?
And you just had to “correct” me?
I bought a 1990 RT4WD Civic, 6 speed, new, and it came stock with the Si engine in it.
Not phrasing I'd normally use, but it just seems too appropriate now – pix or GTFO.
thats cool! i would drive that thing everywhere!
I think it is neat but the cost of the tracks related to the cost of the vehicle seems a little off. The tracks cost about 4X what the car does.
I fail to see how that is a bad thing.
🙂
True, but at least these offer a functional improvement. How many times have you seen some similar shopping-trolley car that has a set of big rims on it for no reason other than appearance.
