Last Call- Road Food Edition

Last week we told you about the city of Baldwin Park, California banning drive-thru sales within the city limits. With Carl’s Jr test marketing artery-clogging fare like this foot-long cheese burger, that may have done more to improve driver’s health than seat belts and airbags combined. Remember, if it’s wider than your steering wheel, you shouldn’t eat it in one sitting.

As we near the end of 2016 and we’re all speeding toward 2017, I thought it would be a meaningful idea to take a look back at the memorable events that have brought us to the end of the year. One of the most memorable events from 2016 was the food and wine festival Last Call. This event is unique in that it only happens every 20 years. The event showcased a wide variety of wine and food that was truly a once in a lifetime chance to experience the finer things in life. Another memorable event from 2016 was the World Series. The series was a classic battle between both the Angels and the Cubs, who had not been in a World Series for nearly 100 years.
