Sadly there was no Michelin Humperdinck on the back.

So, now that the RAZR is retro-tech rumored to be making a comeback, isn’t it time to reboot Atomic Toasters? What would Mayra Leal do?

just checked and it seems my original RAZR has finally died in its sleep, so it’s either time to spend $5 on eBay on a battery or BUY A BRAND NEW ONE??!?!

I’m actually really pumped about this. Gotta replace the aging Pre 3 at some point

I now have a collection of vintage letterpress printing blocks, to the extent that “one” constitutes a collection. Still, I’m pretty happy with it:

Did you seek that one out due to professional interest, or was it a happily accidental find?

      1. mdharrell Avatar

Neither. Instead I occasionally make a specific point of searching for items related to Bruce Baldwin Mohs and his Mohs Seaplane Corporation. Sometimes it pays off.

Not sure if I dare asking about your other hobbies.

How does searching for a seaplane wind up with you buying a 2HOM block?

It may make more sense upon reflection.

Is this the first step towards adding a new car to your collection?
And if so, which one, the Ostentienne or the Safarikar ?
Either way you’ll have enough room inside for most of your other vehicles. 🙂

Those are all very nice but perhaps the Model F Funster would be more my, um, speed.

          And size too?
Incidently, I can’t find any evidence of the Mohs Seaplane Corporation making any seaplanes. Can you confirm that the only vehicles they made were landborne?

          1. mdharrell Avatar

I haven’t seen my copy of the amazing Mr. Mohs’ autobiography since before we moved into our new house, but I’ll see whether I can dig it out this weekend. From what I recall, he never made any complete aircraft but did manufacture some aircraft parts.
