Just a 356 with 310-whp from a 930 turbo mill. No big deal.
Read about it here.

last call already?

I was gonna say – 356s are known to be tail-happy in stock form. Now triple the horsepower, add a homemade trailing arm suspension, kick in the boost, and see what happens.
-
They've ditched the swing axles, though. Cowards.

What is my malfunction, I can't see any images on Hooniverse today? Right-clicking to 'View Image' produces a site error message.
-
Clear your cache or switch to Google's Chrome.
-
that should be a flashing banner at the top of the screen….
-
Nobody would be able to see it.

Firefox shows everything with no problem at all and my aging computer is crashy as hell lately. I switched to Firefox long ago when I found that IE wouldn't let me comment on (REDACTED).
-
I also have no problems with FF, but maybe that's because our computers are nearly as old as our cars/trucks.
-
I'm starting to wonder where to hook up the jumper-cables and if my trusty 12V circuit-tester (that I've had since I was a kid) will even work once I find the g@&-damn hood latch.

I can't find my multimeter, and that pisses me off. I've had it forever, and usually can find it somewhere in my collection of crap. Hey, if this stupid computer were as old as my truck, it would be a collection of vacuum tubes taking up the space of a gymnasium. Even then, it probably wouldn't crash as hard and as often as it does. Pain in the ass.
-
I have a Love/Hate relationship with my multimeter, because it so often tells me things beyond my ken. Continuity? Yes, oh wait no…. Yes!.. Doh! Zip-Tie this bunch of wires….Yes!…. Dang!…. What???

If it did crash, you could hunt down the cause with a visual inspection. The first case of a bug in the system being found – a moth in a relay, September 9th, 1947:

So, the term "bug" started with an actual bug, and there it is. That's just way too cool. I love this kind of thing. Etymology converges with entomology!

So…in case anyone hasn't noticed, we just re-did the layout on the site. Almost nothing's gone, but things are just re-arranged.
Things might be a little weird depending on what cached versions of pages you're looking at, so remember that ctrl+F5 is your friend.

OK, I might not have been crazy then. Thanks.

Or apple+r, if you are so inclined.

Umm…….how can I get rid of those IMHO stupid Facebook messages in every comment, they are bigger than many comments themselves and really annoying. Refreshed design looks ok otherwise.
I guess this answers my question about if a Porsche can be a sleeper.

That reminds me, I have a pic at home of a mid-80's 911 with a SBC in the back. I'd upload it but Hooniverse doesn't work from home. I think they blocked my IP.
-
Someone on [redacted] posted a picture of his boss's Bug with a Caddy big block wedged between the rear tires. Epic.

???
I'll go check our banned list. Can you not log in, or not see it at all?-
It keeps timing out. It won't load anything no matter what browser I use. I've tried Firefox, IE and even downloaded Chrome, to no avail. Tried it on my PC and the wife's.

Now, the really entertaining thing is that you can fit the powertrain of a 993 in the back of a Karmann Ghia. That would expand the immediate education of more than a few 997 and Corvette owners.
