Royal Liberty Morris is a Morris dancing “side” (troupe) that was originally founded a bunch of Outlaw Biker types, which one admittedly doesn’t often associate with precision choreography or ancient dance traditions. Or skipping in a circle for any reason. But let’s face it, British Biker Culture Is A Bit Different℠.
I first read about them in the UK chopper mag Back Street Heroes about 20 years ago, which was not too long before this TV show (er, “programme on the telly”) was recorded in ’95. From their Facebook page, they seem to now be populated with many more mainstream citizens than bikers. But going to England and dancing with Royal Liberty remains on my bucket list.

Bagpipes make up for a lot of evil. Even bad bagpipes.

'Tis entirely possible. It's kinda hard to tell through the fog of the 90s there.
