I’m just going to let Rich talk about his encounter with the new SLK…

There have been extensive and numerous sightings of the upcoming 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK as the engineers finalize the package, pealing back the camo in anticipation of its expected unveiling next March in Geneva. This morning Car magazine in the UK posted shots of the the twin turbo SLK55, the AMG version, testing at the Nürburgring while yesterday in California I got up close and personal with what I believe to be the top non-AMG version, the SLK 350.

No disrespect, but this new SLK leaves me very cold, as does most of the new Benz models lately. What I am wondering is this? How do you feel about the design direction of Mercedes-Benz, and does this car “do it” for you? Comment away…. Read more at Automotive Traveler!
