Welcome to another Hooniverse Weekend. This weekend I thought I would combine two of my favorite weekend themes into one. The Malaise Era, with Low Mileage. I know what you are about to say… “Not another weekend with big old Detroit 70s Boats, dripping in Vinyl, Velour, and Chrome. Ahhh, but that’s where you’re wrong, and here’s an example; A beautiful 1976 Triumph TR6 Roadster with only 17,000 miles on the clock.
I am going to do several of these throughout the weekend, so there will be very little from me in the way of background information. According to the listing dealer:

Extremely nice original wood dash, black soft-top, drives superbly well with very strong and smooth power. This is a very original vehicle with history and lots of attention to routine maintenance. Really looks outstanding! This unmolested TR6 works and drives terrific. Features the excellent, bulletproof 2.5 liter, 6 cylinder engine. Specs show 2.94” bore and 3.74” stroke, factory correct exhaust system that yields excellent power. Proper 4-speed transmission, Stock steel wheels, correct/proper trim rings, Michelin 185/15 red line radial tires, tonneau top cover, outstanding body with straight lines, spare tire in trunk, tools, jack. Full tune up and fresh fluids, this is a super nice, well maintained vehicle. With top mechanical and final detail just finished. The whole package is really nicely well sorted and presented. These very solid and unmolested TR6s really drive exceptionally well. At a dry weight of only 2280 lbs, this is great fun to drive, Vintage British sports car.
