Radwood swept into Los Angeles this weekend, and it took up residence on the top two floors of the parking structure at the Petersen Museum. As 80’s and 90’s vehicular excellent rolled in, so too did the folks who came to take it all in. The spots were filled. The people were rad. And the location proved a great place in which to soak up the Radwood era and its wares.
At the Petersen parking structure, there was plenty of room between cars and people. This led to easy strolling and an enjoyable event. Additionally, if people wanted a Radwood break, the museum was open and available for a look at different eras (for a separate entry fee).
Holding Radwood LA at the Petersen proved successful in our eyes. But it’s also fun to see the event continue to evolve and invade new homes. What’s the perfect place for a future Radwood event? Not centered on LA, but anywhere.
