Fly-By Friday: The Proper Way to Fly Your Buick

I’m dubbing today Fly-By Friday. Every post of mine has a flying theme, so let’s go with it, shall we?
Up first is a classic. What do you get when you combine an empty country road, some good ol’ boys, and grandma’s Lesabre?
You got this – the flying Buick.
This video is something of a cult legend on the interwebs these days, at least among car guys. With over two million views, this video is eight years old, but is still one of the most watched amateur car videos around but it really never gets old. I have watched a dozen times today and laughed every time.
What’s your favorite flying car video? Let us know in the comments.

Among my friends, we’ve agreed this is the ballsiest amateur car jump on the internet. I wonder if anyone knows who the driver was?

I’m curious about how fast he was going to achieve that, and maybe also just exactly where this bit of launch pad road is.

Impressive landing, no nose-dive, didn’t even have a tiny tank slapper, kept going. 10/10

No real favourite online jump here, but Youtube is a bottomless well of stupidity, isn’t it?

I wonder how often one can do any of the above.

i believe the landrover could run thru this and the driver wouldn’t spill the beverage. this jeep should be taken somewhere very high and dropped…tough vehicle….would no doubt drive away from that too….

This VW bus jump is pretty good as well.

I’ve put a lot of miles on a B-body which was identical to this one, and yeah, they’re borderline indestructible.
This vid makes me smile, and I’ve seen it probably 50 times in the last five years.
Imma say entry speed was 70 MPH.
