Scania Trucks has a long an distinguished lineage in the European Truck Market, and for a brief time, they were available here in North America. Well, not any more. And just to add insult to injury, Scania just introduced the most powerful truck engine EVER! So, how powerful is this new engine? How about 730 HP. Now a lot of you may scoff at that number, saying the Bugatti Veyron offers 1,000 HP, as does some of the Supercar Tuners out there like Hennessey and SMS. OK, I have another number for you to wrap your brain around. How about 4,745 ft.lbs of torque (3,500 Nm)? That’s enough to change the rotation of the Earth! (Well, not really, but you get the point).
