The Jaguar XK-R is a car that’s certainly due for a styling upgrade. With the new F-Type on the scene, the XK looks even more long in the tooth than ever. Still, it’s a blast to drive when it wears the R badge on the back. That’s because it packs a 420-horsepower supercharged V8 engine under its hood.

This is a classy burnout machine… and there’s one for sale on Craigslist with just 61,000 miles on the odometer.

This 2008 Jaguar XKR is in absolute mint condition! It was purchased last year as a Certified Pre Owned vehicle from a local Jaguar dealer and has been pampered since then. It has all the premium options including navigation, bluetooth, ipod controls, alpine surround sound. Also has front bumper sensors, an integrated Passport 9500ix radar detector and brand new Yokohama S4 rear tires, all of which were added just a few months ago. This car is an absolute beast when it comes to power, it has a supercharged V8 that puts over 400hp horsepower to the rear wheels. The car is a rare maroon red color with a tan/beige interior, it took me a couple of months to track down this color when i was searching for it. There are no cosmetic or mechanical issues with this car. Looking for serious buyers only, no joy rides!

Seems like a solid machine, and the asking price is $35,000. Not bad for a car that cost between $80,000 and $90,000 when new. Despite that though, we feel this should probably be priced just a tick under $30,000. The XK-R got a more powerful engine as time marched on (510 horsepower!), and the older a Jaguar gets the faster the asking price should fall… until you reach the classics, of course.
