Classic Cars International, Antique Auto Museum of Utah: Through the eyes of a 3 year old

While Jeff and Mad_Science were swilling expensive champagne and drooling over beautiful french ladies, the Schmo’s were wandering around a dusty museum warehouse full of awesome old cars.  I was originally going to run this as part 2 of my museum tour but excitement got the better of me.
All of the photos that follow are a special treat as they were all taken by Bubba Schmo.  I can proudly say that my 3-year-old protégé definitely has an eye for cars. I will let the photos speak for themselves.  Apologies for the timestamps, I didn’t know they were on until after the fact and PS is not one of my strong points.  Enjoy!

There were a few creepy manequins scattered throughout the warehouse and he seemed fixated on this one

This one was my favorite of the bunch

This one is so cool! Bonus points to anyone that can guess the car.

And thus concludes your tour from 2 feet off the ground.  Come back for part 2 to see more of the Antique Auto Museum of Utah.

Thanks for the interesting take on your tour. It has been many moons since I have seen a car show from that height. Very Clever.

Ya know, he's got a pretty good eye for framing. A bit of work needed, but pretty spiffy, none-the-less. Buy him a sarsaparilla for me!

Some of the best photos, opinions and quotes come from children. Mine keep me on my toes. Maybe I should hand them cameras and let them have a crack at it.

    Awesome job Bubba Schmo!!!

My almost five-year-old has her own camera. She takes some very interesting pictures. Some of them, usually the ones with dolls in them, frighten the hell out of me.

Judging by the other pic where a front corner is just barely discernible, I am gonna guess it is a Cadillac Series 62 DeVille ca. 1957

Bubba surely is a Son of A Hoon!
    Thanks Schmo, for sharing.

Thanks for all the kind comments! I am definately going to do this again in the future.

you've definitely inspired me to hand my point and shoot to nieces/nephews/close friend's kids whenever i go anywhere with them… i'll keep the DSLR to myself… but they can run wild with those…. would love to see what they find interesting/memorable at re-enactments……………

Odd that I've not been there. You should go by Ardell Brown's place in Midvale.
Where Pier 84 boat store was on State. He also has a charity show in August.

That's just up the street from my house. Thanks for the tip!

Good job Bubba, I see you got the hoons in your blood. Great eye for detail, especially the front wheel suspension.

Dammit, you're about to cost me $50 or so… I've been wondering if I should give the GIC-spawn her own camera, and now you've sealed it.
Great shots! What kind of camera was he using? Bubba's got a good eye and some talent, for sure. ANd that looks like just the type of were-museum I could heartily endorse.

The mannequin is freaking me out. Yikes!! Tell little Schmo, AWESOME job on the pics. It's amazing when we're able to actually see things again thorough the eyes of a child how it takes us back there. Very cool. +1!

The mannequin is modeled after a guy named Hubert that is circumnavigating the planet with a Ural Motorcycle. Hubert doesn't look a helluva lot better.

Young kids take pictures with such amazing perspective. My 4-year-old daughters are at times incredible photographers.

I had a roommate that was a total "Gamer", I mean that he was always trying to get us to play various board games instead of us just sitting around and seeing how drunk we could get. One of the best he brought to the table was a game called, "Formula De" , which he had bought simply because he saw all the expansion modules and knew that any game that had extra stuff must be cool.
It's a super-easy game to learn, but like racing, difficult to master:

Many compliments to Schmo jr. These are some great shots of some wonderful Cadillacs. Whenever I come back and visit the great state of Utah, I want a personal tour of this place from you guys. Great stuff, and I'm guessing that the Mine Motor has a close relative here.

The hoon is strong with this one.
That was clever giving the camera to Bubba Schmo and letting him have at it. In fact, that's something [REDACTED] is incapable of doing since I don't think any of them have kids. Although, I wouldn't put kidnapping children from SE Asia beyond [REDACTED] to get publicity.
