These are high times for overlanding. Time and tine again we see incredibly well-built 4x4s coming across our screens, leaving us with off-roading daydreams. It’s a big time of proliferation for the off-road capable vehicles, and every day they come further and further towards the forefront of automotive culture. The increase in interest means that more and more people are building trail-capable vehicles, for both use and to show off. It also means that more and more of them are going up for sale.

Once a somewhat mundane off-road capable people-hauler, the original Jeep Wagoneer helped pioneer the SUV genre. As time passed and the brand started offering more comfortable and even more capable vehicles, most people forgot about the full-size Jeep of yore. But now we have come full circle and they’re hitting our screens with increasing frequency. And some of them are truly spectacular.

Bring lots of dough

The $50k asking price might seem like a tough pill to swallow but consider what the truck is equipped with: a GM-sourced L96 6.0L V8 and 6L90E 6-speed auto, Tom Woods drivelines, Atlas II transfer case, front Dana 60 axle up front, and rear 14-bolt axle. The drivetrain is, as you can see, rather stout. Suspension is courtesy of Fox, and the entire steering assembly has been revamped. Other items of note as a Warn winch, 35″ Nitto Trail Grappler tires, beadlock wheels, 30-gallon fuel tank, Vintage Air HVAC unit, and Pioneer stereo.
