American Detours: Episode 6 – Season 1 Finale

Season one of American Detours comes to a close here with episode six. It’s our last classic car on a classic road, and it’s a pretty sweet ride to go out on. Jael and I find ourselves behind the wheel of a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner in unbelievable shape. It’s not the quality paint or the straight body that make it unbelievable, it’s the fact that the owner got the car looking this good after buying from a person who rolled the whole thing over.

With the Meep Meep machine as our tool, we travel around the Monongahela Forest section of West Virginia. Our stops include a really cool cave owned by a really interesting gent. I’ll tell you more about him if you ever catch me in your neighborhood and you have beer… he was quite a character.

Additionally, Jael and I take that Roadrunner to a cafe that serves up delicious food before heading to a little shop on the side of the road that’s playing host to some sweet rides. The sweetest of all? A blown Camaro… owned by the local Sheriff.

Make the jump to watch the final episode of season one. Also, if you haven’t done so already, head on over and tell us where you want to see us drive in season two… that’s right, we’re doing this all over again!

Thanks so much for watching and sharing, this project means a lot to me and I’m happy to be a part of it.

This is one of the most painfully boring productions I've seen in my entire life. The canned lines, terrible narrative, and generally stiff dorkiness make this the worst car show going, next to Motorweek… oh, and the sound track… you can't be serious. Both these hosts need to get some personality, or get the axe, ASAP.
