2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD PRO – Surprisingly Good, Shockingly Expensive

The 2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro is a pretty sweet machine in that it’s nicely built for off-road adventure, but can pack plenty of people and things on the inside. It looks the business and even offers up decent noise, just ignore that it’s mostly piped in via the speakers.

But it’s also colossally expensive…

[Disclaimer: Toyota tossed us the keys to this rig and included a full tank of fuel.]

    “80 thousand fucking dollars”

Straightforward. That’s what we come here for. 😛

Honestly, maybe nothing shocks me in this market anymore, but $80K doesn’t surprise me. I just ordered a 2024 CRV Sport Touring lease for my wife and it’s a $40K sticker (I’m not paying that. ?) An argument might be made that this is twice the vehicle.

A Z71 Tahoe with the off road focused options is $74K and probably not as capable.

It’s got an LED light bar right in the grille, so Billy Joe approves.
