Over at the Autoblog, Sam Abuelsamid writes that Porsche has built their 10,000 Panamera, only 3 months after its introduction. While Sam and Autoblog are interested in that tidbit of news, what we find fascinating is that apparently the final assembly process of the four door Porsche is handled entirely by Aryan Oompa-Loompas. Of course, that would explain why the Panamera looks a bit like Augustus Gloop from the back.
What do you get when your car’s a fat-ass? Dogs growl at you, and your kids walk to class. Buying a four-door Porsche is lame, and you know you’ve only your. . . self. . . to. . .blame! Do de do de do de dooo. . .

What they don't tell you is that the black one at the top of the photo was actually rejected by a quality control inspection. That contraption it's hanging from is actually a giant trebuchet that will fling said faulty Panamera in the general direction of the nearest BMW plant.

Laying siege to the Bavarians sounds good. Move over Pumpkin Chunkin' we now have Panamera Punting. They need to put some crash test Oompa-Loompas in the black one first though.

What is the story with all them Oompa-Loompa's anyway? They are clearly fondling that Panamera. Just because it looks different, doesn't mean it should be treated differently than any other 4 door Porsche.

Next on Mega Factories: The Porsche Panamera plant and it's giant Crane 31 sourced from shipping ports. It's the most powerful crane in use at a passenger car plant, but it has to be to carry the behemoth Panamera.
