It comes but once every hundred years and this month shall go down in history as the first Dime month ever. It’s the 5th month of the 10th year of the new century and we can think of no better way to celebrate 5/10 than to show our love for the mighty little Datsun 510!
And what better way to kick off Dime month than to spend some time at Hooniversity with a fantastic lecture by our very own, Professor Deartháir. Pay attention, class as there will be a test.

Yea, I used to own one of those too. A white 1971 Datsun 510 wagon that was fun to drive, but blew a piston or something. It just quit running one day so I traded it in on a cherry '69 Cutlass S 2dr hardtop.
No, this picture isn't of my 510, but I can assure you that they blow up really good.

Uh oh, you bad people. You snuck a ringer into the collage. The light blue wagon in the lower right hand corner is a post-'77 "510", which was nothing more than the blobby old live-axle Datsun 710 with a squarer body. Is this like one of those "find-it" pictures we had as kids? What do I win for spotting it?

Went to the East Coast 510 meeting as part of The Mitty last weekend. Let me know where to send the pictures. The best was the lhd BRE in original rusty condition from the Baja race.
