Oh Dear Lord, what do we have here? This is a 1981 Chevrolet Caprice that the seller claims is a Broham… A Broham! Anyway, this car is painted in your typical John Deere Tractor colors on the outside, and includes a stroke inducing interior to match. Make the jump after the break to see more of this Broham… According to the listing:
1981 Chevy Broham with 3.1 engine, all custom interior. Two 12’s in truck. 8 interior 6×8 speakers. Alarm and antijack system. Remote start. New motor about 1000 miles or less.
About that engine, according to my sources, the bace V-6 was a Chevrolet Derived 3.8L Unit that produced 115 HP during this time period. The six used the previous years was the 4.1L (250 CID) straight six found in most Chevys during the 60’s and 70’s. Now onto the interior, and I wish I could say it’s better than the exterior, but its not. In one picture, you will note that the seat-backs don’t quite match up. What’s up with that? The Green and Yello Plaid in certain places is positively nausea inducing, and there are so many speakers throughout the interior that you could induce seizures if you crank up the stereo. And the price for all of… this? Try $6,900. Once again, the only thing I could say is Oh Dear Lord… See the Southern Illinois Craigslist Listing here, and tell me what you think of this John Deere Chevrolet.
