Recently Updated47

Well, I did highlight a set of four different Land Rovers from this particular dealer, since they once called themselves RoverClassic.net, but they have since changed their name to Saab Classic, so now it’s time to take a sampling of their Saab Collection. Do you think that they are worthy enough for your hard earned dollar?

Let’s start out with this rather attractive 1995 Saab 900 SE Convertible, and instead of the Saab Turbo 4-cylinder, this has the GM 2.5L V-6 with a Manual Gearbox, which is very unusual since the Manuals were preferred with the Turbos, and the Automatics usually were found in the V-6 models. According to the listing:

This Two Owner SAAB spent its life in New York and Florida, it is one of the cleanest and nicest SAAB 900 that we have even listed for sale. It has 5 Speed Manual Gear box, Power Brakes, Traction Control, Air Bag, Leather / Power / Memory / Heated seats, Fog lights, Power windows, Power door locks, Headlight Wipers, CD Changer / in dash CD / AM / FM, Power Convertible Top and Air Conditioning.

The car has only a little over 73,000 miles on the odometer, and looks amazing. How about something a bit larger, like this 1994 Saab 9000 CSE? This is really an impressive sedan that is really a 5-door hatchback, something that the Saab-O-Phile has always pointed out as the key to Saabs being, well, Saabs. This one has the 2.3L Turbo 4-cylinder, but alas, it has the dreaded Automatic. According to the listing:

It has Automatic Transmission, Power Brakes, Air Bag, ABS, Cruise Control, Leather / Power / Memory / Heated seats, Fog lights, Headlight Wipers, Power windows, Power door locks, Power Mirrors, CD / Tape / AM / FM, Power Sunroof and SAAB Automatic Climate Control.

This is really a great old style 900 that is none too exciting, though it has only covered about 72,000 miles, so it’s barely broken in. The asking price is only $3,000, and should be a relatively reliable with all the work that has been done to it. Yea, it’s not a turbo, and it’s not a Coupe, but it is weird enough for most of the people who frequent this site. See the listing here, and tell me if this doesn’t hit your want button.
