Weekend Decision Time – A Brown '49 DeSoto or A Yellow '53 Nash

Recently Updated54

Well, it looks like I have been Facebook Hunting again to bring you featured cars for the weekend, and here is a pair of early 50’s iron for your consideration. I found the DeSoto on the Brown Car Appreciation Society Facebook Page, and the Nash was found at the Yellow Car Appreciation Society. Both are exceptional examples of the breed, though the owner of the Nash could use some lessons in how to photograph their pride and joy. So which one speaks to you?

The ad includes a Los Angeles area phone number, but the priging is a little vague at $25. It that really $25, $2,500, $25,000? I really have no clue what-so-ever, so why not take a look at the listing here, and tell me what you think.

Now we come to the Nash which also resides in the Los Angeles area (Temecula), though I wish there were better images of the car. The ad itself is somewhat confusing as this Nash is claimed to be original, yet restored…

At least this ad includes an easy to understand price, which is $8,000. As with most things in California, this Nash should be relatively rust free, and the price is not unreasonable, so take a look at the listing here, and tell me if you could see yourself as the next owner of this Nash (or not).
