AnimEigo is an American company that licenses Japanese films and anime, and then distributes the works in new markets. One show in particular caught the eye of Friend of Hooniverse Tanshanomi. It’s called You’re Under Arrest, and the cartoon focuses on two female police officers named Natsumi Tsujimoto and Miyuki Kobayakawa. Originally, the series ran in manga form from 1987 through 1992. From there, YUA was animated, and a bunch of episodes were churned out.

In the clip posted after the break, the two policewomen are in pursuit of a hopped-up Mini. Luckily, their Honda police car is also worked over, and the duo kick things into high gear to catch up to the crims.

Check out the video after the break.
