Two Wheel Tuesday: False Neutral Podcast #88 with special guest Rick Radcliffe

This month we’re joined by Rick Radcliffe, a name well known to Hooniverse regulars. Rick shares his story, which has a uniquely Southern California ambience (spoilers: it involves a Ducati 916 and lane-splitting). We go on to discuss a wide range of bikes, from dream sport bikes to comfortable, practical commuters. Along the way we get an update on our project bikes and the final departure of the Don Vesco Yamaha. Be sure to scroll down to follow along with photos of the bikes we discuss.

You can click below to listen, or get it through all the usual channels: ShoutEngine, iTunes, TuneIn, and Amazon Alexa (“Alexa, play the False Neutral podcast”).

The 916 (and its lineage) remains one of the best, if not the best styled sport bikes. The uncomfortable riding position and the excessive maintenance make it not a very practical commuter, but it’s so pretty, I’d almost consider buying one just so I could look at it all the time.

I’m sure if the GS750L seat is as comfortable as my GS850G seat then you’re in the lap of luxury on that beast. We had three people on my 850 seat once, and no one got pregnant.
Random pic dump from this weekend: The Zen House Motorcycle Shop in Point Arena, California dragged out a few of their relics for the town fair.

There were more pics, but Disqus “detected as spam”. You’ll have to look up Benelli 254 and Moto Guzzi 254 for yourself.

What on earth is a Hummel 115 aka. Tin Banana doing in California? Pretty obscure also in Germany.

…and why is the article writen about it on an Australian website? Is this the most traveled ‘tin banana’ ever?
…and will this link work this time?

The link, it would. The rest – I have no answers.
