The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 105 – Dry EV-ing With Ian Sutton

105 This week Cam, Tub, and Jason are joined by Mr. Ian Sutton, who is an engineer on the SparkCharge project. SparkCharge is working to develop a portable solution to help alleviate the range anxiety people always talk about in regards to pure EVs. It’s a really interesting project, and worth listening to. Of the 105 episodes we have recorded, this one might be my favorite. I don’t even really consider myself an EV enthusiast, but the conversation was good, and it seemed like everything flowed really well, with EVs being the over-arching theme. Give it a listen and tell me if I’m right. This episode’s topics include: Two of the Three D’s, Jason drove an EV converted Ferrari, Jason put down a deposit on a Tesla, Brad has a strange idea for a cool electric-hybrid project (tell me how stupid it is in the comments), Jason is going to drive the new Ford GT350, Speaking of Mustangs, Cam almost died in his, Brad’s going on a road trip, and Ian talks about his EV battery project (We’ve dubbed it the ‘futuristic jerry can’). BEST ONE YET! GO LISTEN!
