Sharkwerks Porsche GT2: The Slightly NSFW Review

My Friend, Colleague, and Podcast Co-Host Jason Connor has driven the absolutely bonkers Sharkwerks-tuned 997-generation Porsche 911 GT2, and he’s fallen in love. By hook or by crook, he’s determined to find a way to get this car in his own garage, perhaps through the sale and trade of vital organs. Who cares if you’re deathly ill when you’ve got one of the most powerful cars to ever come out of the Sharkwerks facility in Nor Cal?
This turbocharged terror is absolutely amazing to drive, and it will absolutely change your idea of what a fast car is. Jason knows fast cars, but he had no idea what he was in for when he went up into the hills near Santa Cruz to test drive this 8th wonder of the world. Once you put your foot down, you quickly find out that this is a car capable of making you shout four letter words. All it takes is sticky tires and nearly 800 horsepower routed through the rear wheels. There is no other car in the world the provides the sensations that this car does, be it the horsepower shove, the sound of that turbocharged flat-six engine, or the perfect sports-car size and weight of a 997. Anyone want a kidney?

There’s a typo in there. It should say: “Once you put the wood down…”
Really fun to watch. Thanks for the review and for the article.
