There are a number of Car Art portals out there. Some do great work, but that often comes at an equally tremendous price point. Others offer up okay pieces for affordable rates. Rear View Prints appears to land somewhere in the best parts of both worlds. There appears to be something for everyone in here, as I’ve come across posts showing off the Land Rover Defender, evolutions of the Honda Civic, and excellent pieces on various globally celebrated race tracks.
Right now, RVP has a new series out. it’s called Generations, and it looks to show off historical members of iconic automotive families. Hop the jump to learn a bit more.
The RVP team reached out to see if I’d be interested in writing about the art. I replied that I wanted to learn a bit more about who they are and why they’re doing what they do.
The company was started by an art graduate and car enthusiast Patrick Redmond. He networked with me and other car enthusiasts and graphic designers to get the brand off the ground. We’re a small team with different expertise, but a shared passion of cars. We create new lines based on popularity of brands, but we also take commissions too. We’ve just released a new brand entitled “Generations” which celebrates some of the world’s most favourite automobiles, including the Mustang, BMW M5, Nissan Skyline and more. We also have a very popular range of F1 prints, including ones of the circuit themselves.
Vintage Ferraris mingle with 80’s TV icons and Lotus F1 race cars on the RVP shopping page. There’s truly something here for every car enthusiast. Though I’m sure our own Doc Harrell may need to commission something for his particular garage.
If you’re looking for a holiday gift for the car lover in your life (or you just want to buy something for yourself, because why the hell not?), you should check out Rear View Prints. Act quickly though, because shipping to the US in time for Christmas ends today!
