As it was technically on someone’s property, and this is Alberta, where the phrase “shoot first and never mind the damn questions” is rather prevalent in many people’s minds, I didn’t want to get too close for too long, lest I end up with a buckshot haircut. Nevertheless, I could see the interior was in decent shape, if not pristine. Similarly, the bodywork is fixable, with much of it looking to need nothing more than a few hours with a power-buffer. This little beauty is the epitome of a salvageable project car. As soon as I have some cash — and a place to store the car — this may be one of the first cars I come back to rescue. CaffeineFuelled commented that my mentality towards project cars was like her mentality towards stray kittens; I just want to save them all, bring them with me and give them all a nice loving home. Is that so wrong?
