  1. After considering going to the Rolex 24 since 2003 (two administrations ago??), I am finally going this year. Yeah, lost years. Yeah, wasted time asking my partner each year if she’d join me. Assuming I love it, this will be an annual solo trip me. Gonna live like a drunk redneck motorsports fan on Saturday, see the fireworks, get some sleep at a hotel, and be back at the track before dawn. Got the breakfast garage ticket as well. It’s probably going to rain. It will be punishing. I don’t care. I have been an idiot not to do this sooner. I have been to IndyCar and IMSA events before. But this is the real deal. This ain’t Lime Rock (my lovely home track).

    1. If you have the access, a stroll through the garages in the wee hours of the morning will never be forgotten. Also, spend some time in the bleachers at the western most Horseshoe if the opportunity arises. Also, if you get a chance, check out the exhibition of historic cars in the Fan Zone area. And definitely hit the grid pre race. Have a Blast!
