Rejoice with your ears because the Hooniverse Podcast is back again. This is Episode 7, and we’ve apparently decided it’s time to be funny. Blake and I run through a wide range of topics, but we start with some left over feelings from the NY Auto Show. Up first, we blather on about both the Camaro Z/28 and the Porsche GT3. Before then moving on to the Audi A3 Sedan, we stop to talk about Tesla and its KWAZY CALCULATOR (patent-pending). Blake can’t math, so I try to explain the situation to him.
From there, the discussion moves to the Hooniverse/Blipshift NY Auto Show part, which was … under attended. Still, we had a blast and some great folks showed up including THE Jack Baruth and, out of nowhere, John Krafcik. Yes, the man in charge of Hyundai Motor America stopped by to down a few pints and talk all things cars (including a bit o’ chatter about his Caterham).
Other topics we touch upon include the Road & Track revival, the Mitsubishi Lancer SE (Sad.Edition.), supercars, the pending arrival of V8 Supercars at COTA, the fact that a certain Pontiac Firebird is currently in the shop prepping to be a Phoenix, my Morgan Three-Wheeler drive, and we finish with a long chat about producer Zack Klapman’s inaugural 24 Hours of LeMons experience.
Folks, this is a good podcast… click past the break to get it.
