Podcast: Episode 10 – Millin' about the Mille

Podcast Image Lead Episode 10

Looks like we’ve maaaaade it!

Episode 10 folks, that’s a milestone round these parts. I’m rejoined by my podcast partner Blake Z. Rong and we do our discussion dance that brings in all things automotive, both new and old. Up on this episode of the podcast, we discuss the new Porsche 911 Turbo and I believe that it’s slowly becoming a Nissan GT-R… suck on that, Porsche fanboys. From there we move to a few more new car items before talking about what vehicles are parked in our respective garages (spoiler alert: Mazda6, Volkswagen Beetle Convertible TDI, Lexus IS-F, Chevrolet Impala).

Finally we move on to the more important topic of older cars… really old cars, in fact. Blake just got back from the California Mille where he got to ride shotgun in a pair of seriously lovely Lancia machines. From there our discussion moves to the Mazda Miata Super20 Concept, and an update on the Firebird.

For those of you who are interested (and of course you are), the story of my California Mille experience is a three-parter. Part 1 is about the Lancias themselves. Part 2 is about the Swig brothers, who are chill and resemble Bob Saget. Part 3 is about whether young people still want to partake in this sort of thing, and that's going to run on Thursday.
    There, shameless plug over.
