It was 85 years ago today that Hollywood feted itself with the first ever Academy Awards ceremony. Only silent films were allowed to be recognized and Howard Hughes’ WWI saga, Wings won for Best Picture. There’s little chance that any of us will win an Oscar, but you can take home the prize for best Mystery Car I.D. by serving up the make, model, likely engine, and year range for today’s feature player.
