Let’s mix things up a bit. We’d typically post a piece of a taillight, an odd angle of a hood, or a half broken piece of a fender trim. That was always enough for you hooligans to figure out what car it came off of. But this, this is a bit different. Make and model, please.
The mystery car from two weeks ago (I had to take a week off) was identified relatively quickly, to my annoyance. See it below.
The Infinti Q60S is one of the most underappreciated cars on the market right now. It’s beautiful and it really moves with its 400hp engine. The steering isn’t great and the infotainment system is from the last decade, but otherwise it’s solid. Every time I see a Maserati I ask myself why didn’t someone just buy the Q50/Q60 as they’re much better cars.

In Dutch, that would be, “de Niro”. Hehehe.-
That would be a Hooniverse Asks, remarkable issues with car names in other languages. There are some established ones (Pajero, Probe), but “de Niro” and “Kona mi” (my wife) are recent additions to the canon.

I have never had to reset the (12V) battery in any of my cars. Do they really need a switch for this?

Yeah I’d like to know what that switch is actually for.

I can’t get a complete handle on what it really does, but what I’ve read leads me to believe if the hybrid battery discharges, you have a 12v battery (in the trunk, or under a seat in later models) and you press that button to get it to start.

Mystery car would be the Hundai Ioniq

Close, but I think Maymar had it with Kia Niro. The Ioniq’s buttons are slightly more recessed in the dash, and lack the thin frame that surround them in the Niro.

The combo of fuel pump and 12 V battery reset would indicate a plug in hybrid and I’ll go with the majority opinion of Kia Niro.
Regarding the 12 V batter reset, a friend with a Nissan Leaf had to jump start his car after the 12V battery that runs the control system went flat. This would point to some sort of system for jump starting the car off the traction battery if the utility battery goes flat.
