Since it’s clear that the zombie apocalypse is finally upon us, I think it’s time to start looking for a suitable set of wheels to keep my family safe. My budget is too low for a tank or Saunders-Roe SR.N5, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something out there hiding on Craigslist. For example, the 1954 Studebaker M35A2 6×6 Cargo Truck seen above can be had for just $7,000.

1954 Studebaker M35a2 6X6 Military Truck also known as the deuce and a half or 2 1/2 ton 6×6. This truck is A RARE number 6 m35 built according to the frame number and the Studebaker Museum back east. The engine is a multi fuel with the rare whistler turbo.. The truck does not leak a drip of oil. Two Newer Optima batteries. The tires are all 85% plus tread. The canvas and bows on the back is in great shape. This truck also comes withe the complete tool kit and also the pioneer tool kit too. This truck runs great and has no problems. The truck is registered as a historic vehicle witch cost $70 a year to register and I have a clean pink slip as well. All in all these are a very cheap truck to operate, parts are easy to find insurance cost me $78 a year for full coverage classic car policy. .
