We love cab over engine trucks. This one isn’t quite as cool as the one in our marketplace, what with the modern bed out back.
Still, it’s a brutish looking beast up front, and it’s got a 454 sitting right below your ass.

The cab looks good, but putting a modern bed on an older pickup ruins it everytime.

Seriously. I've seen this before on lots of old trucks. I don't get it, there are plenty of older step side beds to choose from.

A mechanic at the Audi dealership next door to my office drives an old Ranger with a late-model Flairside/stepside bed. Ruins both, in my view.

Your dad would like to have a truck.

Your son has one he'll sell you cheap. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

And the bed is mounted too low; it doesn't meet the height of the cab.

I would have gone the other direction and lowered the bed to the height of the front fenders. It makes the truck a lot easier to load.
I always wonder if the guys who buy CXTs thought those 5 foot high floors would be good for Harley hauling.

I like this one better. -
Poor Jeff. He posts something he thinks is cool, and we rip it to shreds. We're so mean.

I love COEs, but the bed ruins this one for me.
Modern beds don't always look bad, but they definitely do if there's no attempt made to try blending the body lines.
