If a tree that large is in such poor shape that it snaps at the base the top must have been a dead give away to not park beside it. It still gave me a good laugh, I can see all the hippies now rejoicing how the trees are striking back!

You'd be surprised. I lost an oak last year that was 4 feet across at the bottom and turned out to be completely hollow two about the 25-foot mark. I mean, we're talking about three inch thick walls holding up a 75-foot tree. It looked very healthy in the canopy.

*note to self*………. when parking next to possible tree failures…. place one's vehicle betwixt two taller (*hopefully* fully caged) vehicles…. and all it a night..

I've never seen a real Tahoe that was bigger than an H2, and for having a plastic hood, the Hummer held up pretty well. In other words, Photoshop FAIL.
